This only 99% completed, the clear resin provided by juliuslim do do the water effect is not enough... anyway thx la bro!
no water effect photo showing here coz i failure mixing the clear resin, the surface just like a layer of oil floating on top...and the worse part is the clear resin not drying for few weeks...i sux...

the acguy is actually base on totoro (my favorite) color scheme

from this photo u actually can see the chest of acguy is put on decal which is something like totoro chest marks

0.5mm & 1mm plaplate to construct the base & triangle plastic beam to support the 4 sides

Paper clay to create the base, and bought various real stone from aquarium shop...

placing various stones & pour putty+sand on it

same color scheme like i applied on the semi sphere, and also apply some green color on the stones (left pix)
wash the base (not the stones) using enamel brown+black

Was wasting a lot time on searching the stuff to make the big acguy head...

Found something near to the shape of acguy's head, but plastic is too hard to cut, it melt if using machine to cut! i used saw to cut the ring out in the end, ...after that roughen the surface

Dun hv the right tool to cut the plastic... i give up the big acguy head idea...sob...

paper clay to make the ground

acguy's little belly make the posing looks unnatural on the semi sphere... hide the belly inside the hole!

tamiya putty + silica sand to make the ground texture

testing the tamiya dio texture paint

German gray as base color, then spray the ground color (sand yellow), the lower area in darker color coz is near to the water

Wash with tamiya enamel brown + black

Apply tamiya dio texture paint on the dark area on top

After drying! (this pic took under the sunlight, so it looks diff color from the previous photo which is took under table lamp)

Just do the intro for fun, lol, okay, this is my next relax build project, my favorite baby ACGUY!
this is HGUC 1/144 kit, image below is the idea of my Acguy + Dio

the reason i cut of the body is becoz orignal articulation canot achieve my posing!

alright the WIP start here, cut off the body according to my guide, abandon the triangle area, so tat the body can bend up a bit!

as the original hand articulation can't touch the chin, so this is how i mod the arm

slice off some area to improve the articulation...

this is the result!

Sorry~ has been a while didn't update my blog, was busying working on my PG 00 raiser, now in coloring stage, i have to finished everything end of this May, u might come back later coz wont be any update this following week, thx for support!

Past few weeks was SANDING HARD on the PG 00 raiser, got no time to take a photo of my Mitsubishi Evolution 6.

FINISHED SANDING!

was roughly counting the parts after wash, total abt 912 pcs above!

Basically no mod & detailing on this kit, just OOB and cover some seam lines, advance modeler can skip this.

was try out the innerframe color, look like shading one look more natural, the color i'm using for innerframe this time is:
GX2 "UENO BLACK (gloss)" = Base color
No.37 "RLM75 GRAY VIOLET (semi gloss)" = Shading

1)paint chipping...(tear off masking tape to fast...)

i found tat art knife really good in scribe panel line for round edge kit, most of the kit surface are using this method to deepen the panel lines

little mod on exhaust pipe using evergreen beams

Just finished this movie at 11pm, i was fall asleep watching half way on this movie, after woke up by a phone call, i continue this movie in dizzy status... yes, just right timing, the story started tension, the story line will twist u up, ''wat will u do if u encounter this situation over & over & over & over & over again..''
Perfect screen play, unique story, i just love it, btw, this isn't really a murdered or thriller, and the poster design looks simple but really got the CONCEPT on it, for those who like special story, u might try watch this movie!

this is some progress after 3 days of AB
basically the color of my kit in pic below is like this:

1) main color on body: neautral grey > white
2) innerframe: metallic black 80% + silver 20%

after the beasic color is on, the next step is apply (decals>panel lining>top coat>wash>light weathering)

finally give up to use the red & gold color, looks very chinese god...
i finally go for zaku tristar color scheme with right arm highlight with dark red

well just start ab innerframe lastnite
silver 20% + metallic black 80%, will apply wash after all done

finally some selected parts put on texture using tamiya putty, and surfacer 1000 for the rest of parts.

can't wait to try some diff posing on custom build ^^
